History

  • 1999 - 2002: Incorporated in Vancouver, BC, Canada, Bethel Capital made its first client in San Francisco, California
  • 2003 - 2008: Jacob Choi formed and managed a U.S. subsidiary company of a South Korean based real estate development company in Los Angeles, California
  • 2009 - 2011: Jacob Choi returned to New York from Seoul, South Korea and re-established Bethel Capital in-alliance with Pak & Cho, P.C. Attorneys at Law
  • 2012: Jacob Choi relocated in California and established Bethel Capital's Beverly Hills office
  • 2013: In-alliance with Truben Investment in Seoul, South Korea, Bethel Capital re-established its presence in South Korea
  • 2015: In-alliance with KBC Corporation in the U.S.A. and Geo & Human in South Korea, Bethel Capital explored and extended its project sources in South Korea addition to the North America

Investment History

  • From 1999 to 2005, Bethel Capital's principal began investing in association with a few high net-worth South Korean individuals.
  • In 2006, with the successful raising of a fund, Bethel Capital expanded its investor base to include South Korean institutional investors as well as high net-worth individuals.
  • Today, Bethel Capital invests in associated with public and private pension plans, endowments, foundations, insurance companies, and high net-worth individuals in South Korea.
